Anyway. This icon was made (with quite a lot of frustrated screeching) in PS CS5, but it is actually very 'old school' and completely translatable.

I wasn't sure what this challenge was really about, having not been around the last time a brush was used as the object - so I just did what I envisioned the moment I saw the picture - which was basically a 21st century version of a painting by Rubens.

This icon was made using Photoshop CS4 on a PC. It uses a brush made for the challenge, a bit of a stock image, layer stamping and re-sizing, a simple layer style, and a text layer.

This challenge proved to be a lot harder than I expected! Really, there's quite an art to choosing pictures for an icontest, and I'm still very hit and miss. Ah well, it is supposed to be a *challenge*.
